Absolutely gorgeous rare find Premier "Astria" snare drum. The Astria model snares were only made available new for one year back in 1999. A short one year only built for production release. Beautiful blue sapphire lacquer finish with brilliant polished shine throughout all. 14"X5.5" birch shell with natural interior.
Quality 1st premium hand built in Great Britain drum. Drum's complete, all original in lovely clean polished condition. This is a fabulous model drum and one of me favorites had among me collection. 1 Premier Big Red P Made in England badge, on lovely chrome (plinthed) cast riser plate like Genista series also of same era.
1 Air breather vent hole with grommet. 1 Premier birch and Eucalyptus 6 ply shell.(2 outer and inner birch plies with 2 Eucalyptus plies sandwiched in the center). 16 Premier classic cast smaller single tension lugs. 16 Premier black lug backing mounting gaskets.
1 Premier Classic cast lever action, butter smooth snare tension strainer release. 1 Premier Classic cast matching butt plate. 1 16 steel snappy wires snare set. 2 black heavy-duty nylon snare cords, 1 ea.1 Premier heavy 2.3mm chrome over steel triple flange batter top hoop. 1 Premier heavy 2.3mm chrome over steel triple flange snare bottom hoop. 16 Premier COS lug rods.
Metal lock washers & flat washers. 16 white nylon non-slip washers. 1 Remo Ambassador X heavy coated batter top head. 1 Remo Ambassador classic clear snare bottom head. Drum is professionally tuned to deliver distinct clean crisp tight loud crack with wonderful warm woody studio quality tone. Excellent snare drum choice for any style. Drum has only light play usage. Case kept in totally smoke free environment for personal private cherished collection appreciation only, never gigged out with.With this drums beautiful appearance and ability in sounding great.
