Hand painted black dial with sixtieth anniversary logo. Uni-directional bezel with black insert. Swiss made ETA 2824-2 Élaboré automatic movement. Swiss ETA 2824-2 Élaboré self-winding movement - Frequency of 28,800 vph, 4 Hz, 25 Jewels, 42 hours typical power reserve, hacking, manual winding.

Diameter 42 mm, 48mm lug to lug, 13mm thick. Luminous index markers on dial. Flat Sapphire Crystal with 2-sided AR coating. Screws on the bezel for easy removal. Sequential serial number engraved on back.

Squale signed rubber or leather strap (20mm). Squale 50 atmos 1521 Anniversaire. Celebrating the sixtieth anniversary of Squale, this limited edition watch is based on the classic Squale 500 meter professional diver with the characteristic and famous "von Büren" case.

A watch case that was part of many famous dive-watches over the decades, as Squale also supplied these to other big and small Swiss brands. A recognition of the sheer quality of engineering and timeless design by Squale founder: Charles von Büren. This classic diver has a screw-in case back, and a 316L stainless steel case with dimesions of 42mm x 13mm for a comfortable presence on your wrist.

This highly recognizable shape features a signed screw-down crown at the 4 o´clock position which is recessed and well protected against unwanted impact. Due to the recessed crown and the elegant flowing design of the case the watch is exceptionally comfortable to wear even on a smaller wrist. The hand-painted dial with the distinctly designed luminescent markers of Superluminova provides excellent legibility in all lighting conditions.

The smooth, coin-shaped uni-directional bezel partners well with the orange minute hand providing crucial, at a glance, information on remaining or elapsed dive-time. The scratch-resistant flat sapphire crystal is enhanced with anti-reflective treatment on both sides and protects this timepiece up to 500 meters below sea-level or 50 atmosphere of pressure. The great attention to detail and quality is easy to see in the acid-etched case back and the sapphire-crystal guarding the superluminova on the bezel. These details give this iconic timepiece a contemporary look and feel whilst still paying respect to its classic unique design and brand heritage.

The Squale 50 atmos is powered by a Swiss made ETA 2824-2 Élaboré automatic movement which provides mechanical reliability and accuracy under the toughest circumstances. A purpose build tool-watch which is elegant and reliable, a perfect companion for every day adventures!
